The Remington Rider Pocket Percussion Revolver was one of the first double action revolvers manufactured in quantity in the U.S. circa 1860-73 and the distinctive action was designed by Joseph Rider. The top barrel flat has the two line Remington address/Rider's patent date marking. Matching serial number "5811" on the frame and both grips with the barrel numbered "3113". Blue barrel and cylinder with silver plated frame and casehardened hammer.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 70% bright original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The hammer retains half of the vivid original case colors. The frame retains 75% original silver plating with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are excellent with a few minor handing marks. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
