Manufactured in 1905. The top of the 7 1/2 inch barrel is marked "COLT'S PT.F.A. MG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." with the left side of the barrel marked "41 COLT." (Long barrel 41 LC Colt Single Action Armys are seldom encountered!) The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates of "PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871/JULY 2. 72. JAN 1875." followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The revolver has a casehardened smokeless powder frame. The matching serial number "265119" is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The loading gate is marked with the assembly number "3463". The revolver has a blade front sight, a frame notch rear sight, and blue finish with casehardened hammer and frame. It is fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 85% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, thinning, minor spotting and drag line on the cylinder, thinning on the trigger guard and areas of grayish brown patina on the grip straps also showing some minor spotting. Overall there are some minor scratches. The frame and hammer retain 75% original case colors with some fading to gray. The grips are also very fine. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
