Very fine. The rifle retains approximately 80% original blue finish (strongest on the frame) with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor spotting. The hammer retains some strong traces of faded case colors with a smooth dark patina on the lever. The wood is very fine with most of the varnish with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
