''Howdy Doody'' mimeographed scripts and documents from 1949-1950, from Bob Keeshan's tenure as the enduring character of his own creation, Clarabell the Clown. Keeshan starred as this character from 1948-52 before becoming ''Captain Kangaroo.'' Xeroxed typed documents bear the show's title, its producer E. Roger Muir, and the date and episode number. Nine stapled packets in a combination of letter and legal sizes run 9-16pp. each, with two loose sheets. One packet features hand notations by an unknown hand to verso. Toning and creasing, else near fine.
