An engraved American eagle illustrates this sheet touting Woodward's Hops Beer. The manufacturer “<I>Respectfully recommends to the friends of Temperance and the Public generally, his very superior Hop Beer, as a delightful, pleasant and wholesome beverage.</B></I>” He further states that, “<I>Hops are an aromatic grateful bitter, and beneficial in cases of Dyspepsia and indigestion.</B></I>” Very convincing stuff.
