IHFZ One drawing on tracing paper and 11 blueprints of a preliminary project for a complex of buidlings to house the Faculty of Philosophy and Philology, to be constructed nearby the central library. However, this project, worked out in collaboration with his assistant Eugene Delatte, was never realised and finally replaced by one of Delatte and Steppé in which Van de Velde played no part at all. Added : autograph or dactylographed letters concerning the planning and realisation of this project and other items, principaly between Van de Velde and Delatte some of which with a quite personnal touch. Some letters from Novgorodsky (1948) and from Sembach (1960) to Delatte concerning their research about life and work of Van de Velde.
