Extremely rare 1979 Van Halen Christmas card. Card measures 8 x 5.25 closed with an image of the band in a hilarious Christmas pose with Eddie as part of the tree, David Lee Roth as a shocked looking elf, Alex as a cigar chomping Santa, and Michael Anthony as Baby New Year toasting with Jack Daniels. Inside features an image of their classic logo and is signed inside in blue felt tip by Eddie Van Halen and in black ballpoint by Alex Van Halen, Michael Anthony, and David Lee Roth, leaving off his last name. Card was part of a promotion and was given out with their pre-debut Looney Tunes red vinyl promotional album. Scattered toning and creasing, dampstaining to edges, and tack holes to two edges, otherwise fine condition. Consignor notes card was originally acquired by a Warner Bros employee in 1979. Only a very scant handful of these cards are known to exist and are in great demand by collectors.
