Radical feminist writer (1936–1988) best known for her attempted murder of Andy Warhol in 1968. ANS signed “Valerie” in pencil on the back of a postcard, 3.25 x 5.5, August 9, 1977. Solanas writes Mark Zussman, in full: “I’ll send you a copy of the play for you to look at for $100.00 plus cost of copying & postage.” She has then shown simple addition to estimate the additional cost to be $3.75. Solanas has addressed the postcard on the opposite side and signed in the return address area, “Solanas” along with her street address. In fine condition, with scattered pencil-related soiling.
