British actress (1917–1998) who appeared as Baroness Frankenstein in Bride of Frankenstein with Boris Karloff and Colin Clive. She also played opposite Henry Hull that same year in Werewolf of London. Glossy 10 x 8 photo of Hobson lying in bed with Clive in a scene from Bride of Frankenstein, signed in blue felt tip “Best Wishes, Valerie Hobson.” Scattered creases, light vertical bends passing through the image, and a couple of surface scratches, otherwise fine condition.
