Hardcover, 5.25 x 7.5, 120 pages. Signed and inscribed on the first free end page, “For Margaret Benning, Merry Christmas in July & best wishes from Valentine Davies, July 18, 1951.” Uniform light toning to signed page, collector’s pencil notation under signature (noting that book came from a gentleman mentioned in the author’s note, soiling, creasing and damp staining to covers, and wear to head and toe of spine, as well as partial separation, otherwise very good condition.
