BiographyVadik Suljakov (Russia, b. 1960) studied at the Moscow First Art School and served apprenticeships at the Moscow Graphic Art Committee and the Moscow Art Group. He left Russia in 1990, and spent a year in New York City working as a commercial artist. In 1991, Suljakov moved to California, where his work came to the attention of art dealer Mark Siegel. Suljakov works in oils and acrylics in a style best described as "Impressionistic." He specializes in picturesque urban landscapes from the world's great cities. His vibrantly textured and richly detailed style has attracted a large and faithful following of collectors, which will undoubtedly continue to grow.
