King of Italy (1900-46); self-styled emperor of Ethiopia (1936-44) and king of Albania (1939-44). Ceding most of his authority to Benito Mussolini in 1922, he abdicated in favor of his son after World War II, thereafter living in exile until his death. Partly-printed DS as King of Italy, Rome, Feb 17, 1927. As proposed by the Secretary of State and Minister of War, the king makes a decree regarding a pension for a member of the women’s army corps auxiliary. Large signature boldly penned at conclusion. Also boldly signed by “<i>Mussolini</i>” (1883-1945), founder of Italian fascism and self-styled “Il Duce.” Official stamps and annotations present. 1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
