Lefler Auction purchases are subject to a 19% buyers' premium (unless otherwise noted). Online bidder registration information must be kept up to date and accurate, and finances must be in place for any purchases before any bid is placed. Online Bidders must provide a valid credit card.
The highest bidder is the purchaser at the end of the bidding process. All winning bidders will be notified by email, and payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
No bidder can retract their bid. A bidder is considered to have accepted an item when making a bid. Bidders need to recognize that internet bidding may be influenced by faults caused by the loss or delay of an internet connection. Lefler Auction is not responsible for lost or incorrect bids due to errors or delays.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the time of sale of the given lot. The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at their discretion.
Lefler Auction assumes no responsibility for liability once a bid is accepted. It is suggested that purchasers arrange insurance for their purchases in advance. The auctioneer may require proof of insurance from the purchaser. All sales are final.
All applicable excise and sales taxes shall be added to the purchase price.
The purchaser is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full. If the purchase prices are not paid within the prescribed time, the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in what manner that fits, without notice to the purchaser. Any shortfall from the sale, plus commission and expenses, shall be paid by the purchaser.
Packing and shipping costs will be the buyer’s responsibility. Packages will be shipped with Canada Post unless otherwise communicated with Lefler Auction before the sale begins. For heavier or bulk items, Day & Ross or TNT can be utilized. The purchaser/bidder insures the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots. Bidders should be aware of the size and weight restrictions in place by Canada Post.
Receipts will be sent to the email address on file for each bidder. Shipments will only be directed to the buyer's address on file, which corresponds to the credit card address on file, NO Exceptions.
Any lots not picked up in the prescribed time shall be deemed as abandoned and property of the auction unless previous arrangements have been made.
If, for any reason, Lefler Auction is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Lefler Auction shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to remove their items within the prescribed time.
