VICTORIA
(1819 - 1901) Queen of England, reigned during the Crimean and Boer Wars, abolished the East India Company, brought Disraeli to power as Prime Minister, and is considered the symbol of a unified British Empire. D.S., Sept. 25, 1840, a warrant to give free pardon to a Harriet Kent who was sentenced to 14 years for receiving stolen goods. This lot also includes a cabinet b/w photo of Queen Victoria in her later years as queen.
