<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"><tr><td><em> </em></td></tr><tr> <td width="100%"> Although Queen Victorian loved and made all things Scottish ever so popular, Gainsborough the famous painter did also. His ring of Moss Agate can still be seen today in an Oxford museum. Agates were used to remind one of impressionistic landscapes. Antique jewelry made of Moss Agate is sometimes fondly referred to as Gainsborough pieces. Just like a miniature scene, this beautiful Victorian bar brooch has the same effect. The moss agate has tendrils of moss with hauntingly beautiful shades of green, all on a foggy translucent background. This gorgeous brooch is long and slender being set in beautiful silver. The brooch has the original pin stem and C clasp catch. Measures 1-¾ inches long and a tad under ½ inch wide. Excellent condition. Absolutely stunning and charming! Wear and own a piece of history! </td></tr><tr> <td> </td></tr><tr> <td>Reference #: GAVJ452</td></tr><tr><td>Condition:Excellent!</td></tr><tr><td>Year:1880-90s</td></tr><tr><td>Title:VICTORIAN SCOTTISH MOSS AGATE BROOCH </td></tr><tr><td>Location:WA</td></tr></table>
