PISTOL WITH SPARE MAGAZINE & FACTORY LETTER. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 215RP14317. Bbl. 4 5/8". Hi Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1978. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL BELGIQUE/ BROWNING'S PATENT DEPSOE", with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM" marked on the right. Right side of the forward trigger guard web exhibits Belgian commercial proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the 2-piece bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips, which feature red anti-moisture barrier paint on the interior of the panels. Fixed half-moon blade front sight, with dovetailed square notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (front grip strap), slide, as well as the bbl. MAGS: 2 13-rd. mags. 1 mag. exhibits an indicator hole on the spine. Pistol is also accompanied by a factory letter indicating that this example was sold for $284.35 to McBride's Guns in Austin, TX (Invoice #163268) on November 8th of 1979. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few small spots of light wear (primarily on edges), with some superficial handling marks present overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some superficial marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
