A very nice Victorian gold-filled handle, somewhat tau-like with relief figure of Cupid on each side and bold flowers& vines on stippled ground. Unclear makers stamp. Mounted a beautifully figured exotic hardwood tapered shaftwith 1.5" nickel & steel ferrule. Total length 37".Minor scratches on handle, nice original finish on shaft.(EST 200-300)
