<td width="100%">
Very rare unusual sterling silver spoon, made in South Africa. Has sculpted openwork model of The Castle (made by Jan Van Riebeeck in Cape Town). Measures 5 3/4" long. Generous, wide bowl, unadorned to show quality of the silver. Sturdy handle, again, quite unadorned. The end however consists of a sculpted model depicting the entrance to The Castle, built by Van Riebeeck in 1652. The back is hallmarked as follows: CM; S925; STG; springbok head; F. The condition is excellent. No damage of any sort.
