Wellington Koo,” one onionskin page, 8.25 x 11.75, International Court of Justice, The Hague letterhead, October 7, 1965. Letter to Jacob Bacal, in full: “Your letter of 11 September 1965 addressed to me at the World Peace Through Law Conference in Washington D.C. has just been received here at The Hague. Owing to previous engagements in Europe, I wasn’t able to attend the aforesaid conference. Complying with your request, I am dictating this brief note of acknowledgment which, I hope, also answers your purpose. Thanking you for your good wishes.” In fine condition, with some creasing to the letter. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, with handwritten initials above the return address.
