Unusual and high-grade German double-rifle over shotgun, signed in gold “A. F. W. Timner, Coblenz” on barrels. The gun is chambered 9mm over 20ga. (Rifle chambers are 9.3x74R caliber). The gun shows a very finequality manufacture and high-grade engraving of stag on left, dog bracing bore on bottom, stag and doe on right. Bottom of frame shows original Ansen-Deeley markings. The gun shows double-adjustable triggers, side safety,cocking indicators on top. The gun is stocked in high quality European walnut with squared pistol grip. The gun measures 41-1/4” overall with 24-3/4” barrels. The barrels retain 90-95% blue evenly thinning and toning around claw mounts, rib, edges. The stocks have been professionally refreshed but are at least very good plus with great wood to metal fit. The top of the stock near buttplate shows thumb-release for cartridgetrap. Serial #6824.
