Unusual Mamluke style saber with European blade, marked Vincenzo. The hilt and pommel cap are chiseled steel in oriental motifs and the grip is a dark horn. The sword measures 37-1/2" overall with 33" blade and is ofmedium to light weight. The grip shows a few small losses or "bug bites". The blade shows scattered light to moderate pitting, and no scabbard is retained. It is our belief that this is an entirely Italian madesword in mid-eastern style, similar to the Marine Corp.'s use of the Mamluke style saber as part of their uniform dress. A rarity. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
