Unusual, High Quality Secretary Desk, "a deux corps", part pine and oak, of extremely good quality, painted with figural medallion-shaped panels and ribbon motifs in the Venetian manner, the lower section with sloped sliding side doors, four drawers, fall front writing surface, four inner drawers, the upper section with two glazed doors, 214 x 130 x 60 cm, the painting retouched in the course of several restorations, metal fittings replaced, originally second half 18th century, probably West German with Venetian influence.
