<B>Untitled Bound Photograph Album,</B></I> undated, embossed, brown-leather-bound album of 80 matted 2.25” x 3.5” black-and-white photographs, folio (9.25” x 12.25”), covers connected by two gold-metal clasps. This bound volume contains photographs of European (primarily British) royal, political and military figures from the Victorian era. Individuals include Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, Frederick of Prussia, Napoleon III, Czar Nicholas, Lord Palmerston, Prime Minister William Gladstone, and Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli. Most of the photographs include handwritten (pencil) descriptions on the gilt-edged, cardboard mattes (each of the 20 pages contain four images). The photographs are in generally fine condition; some have faded more than others, but are generally unaffected by a slight acidification from the mattes.
