No visible makers marking, lightly scroll engraved locks, hammers and barrel tang, with scallop border on the locks and silver inlaid bands on the breech end of the barrel and rear of the rib. Single bead sight on the wide solid concave rib, Damascus pattern barrels, double triggers, silver trigger guard with grip extension and decorative finial, and mounted with a one piece walnut straight grip stock secured by two wedges, with silver escutcheons, checkered wrist and flat iron buttplate. Complete with a wooden ramrod with brass tip. These guns were designed for multiple kills with one shot when hunting game birds.

Condition: Very good. The barrels have a smooth gray patina with scattered thin original brown finish and most of the fading Damascus pattern remaining. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth silver gray patina. The trigger guard and escutcheons have an aged patina. The stock is also very good. A silver plate has been added to the upper right wrist directly behind the shield, the checkering shows heavy wear and there are scattered minor dings and scratches. The engraving is crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
