Unmarked European Double Barrel Percussion Pistol with Engraved Fittings and Carved Stock
Most likely of German origin, this ercussion double barrel pistol is very plain. Marked "2" on the upper tang, with the blade front sight removed and a groove rear sight. Locks are unmarked, with modern replacement brass nipples and dual triggers. Full length stock, with a horn covered tip, brass headed wood ramrod, raised carved borders and floral designs and scroll engraving on the brass trigger guard and buttcap. Overall length 14".
