Very fine. The rifle retains 85% plus original blue finish showing a smooth gray patina on the balance with some minor scratches. Two tapped holes are present on the top rear of the frame and two tapped holes are present over the barrel address. The tapped holes are believed to be for pressure test gauges. The forearm and buttplate have an attractive patina. The stock is excellent with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
