Included are two Winchester Museum letters (one dated 1968, the other dated 1969) state that the rifle was acquired by Winchester for testing ammunition and the "W.R.A. Co. 6-1-10" receiver marking denotes Winchester ownership and the date it was acquired. Lyman blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, two-line Standard Arms Co. barrel address, Japanned bronze alloy forearm and buttplate featuring high relief wildlife and logo designs and straight grip walnut stock. The Winchester marking is on the left side of the receiver. According to the consignor, there are only two known Winchester acquired Standard Arms rifles and the barrel is .60 thicker, a change that was made as post-sale information was gained.

Very fine. The rifle retains 80% plus original blue finish showing some minor thinning and minor spotting overall with gray patina mixed with original blue on the magazine tube. The finish on the trigger assembly has taken on a purple hue (possible due to high nickel content). The stock is excellent with some scattered minor handing marks. Mechanically fine.
