Unique Silver Accented Indian Katar Anti-Armor Dagger Outfitted with a Pair of Onboard Box Lock Flin
Produced at an unknown date, the installation method of the pistols suggest an older blade that was later upgraded to its present configuration. Measuring 17 1/2" in overall length, with a blade measuring 10 1/4" long and 1 4/5" wide, with triple fullers and a reinforced tip. The silver finished hilt measures 8" long and 2 3/4" wide at the dual grasping bars, with a concave design to the outer bars for increased rigidity. Secured with clamps and screws to each support bar is a box lock flintlock pistol, equipped with screw-on cannon barrels, deep cut star patterns on the sides next to vine and punch dot engraving, which is continued on the tops. The side clamps double as protective shields for the hand, measuring 2 3/5" wide and 3 1/4" long, and the triggers are positioned to be used by the index and little fingers.
