Unique Left Handed K. Dohling Marked Full Stock Percussion Carbine
Blade front sight and a two leaf rear sight (folding, fixed) on a barrel with "K. DOHLING IN WURZBURG" inlaid in silver on the top flat near the breech. Blued barrel, with casehardened upper tang, lock plate, hammer and breech plug with a hardwood trigger guard. Plain lock plate with a gold inlaid arrow on top of the breech plug and an engraving with a gold inlaid accent on the percussion bolster. Single set trigger. Ambidextrous stock with a raised cheekpiece with a scroll carving on the left and right sides of the buttstock. The nicely figured full length straight grip stock also has checkering on the forearm and wrist, a horn forend tip, sling swivels and a smooth flat steel buttplate. Complete with a horn tipped wooden ramrod.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel retains 75% original blue finish with some patches of brown and some minor spotting. The buttplate has a mixed gray patina with some mild spotting. The remaining surfaces retain 90% original case colors, otherwise faded to a gray. The forearm is cracked near the breech end of the barrel, otherwise the stock is very good with some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
