Very good plus as period converted to percussion. The barrel, lock and hammer and have an attractive crisp untouched dark brown patina with some flash pitting on the breech end of the barrel. The brass components have a dark aged patina. The action needs work, the hammer does not hold a cock position. The stock is fine with a few minor cracks, loss of wood around the pins, dark areas and scattered minor dings and scratches. This is the ultimate piece of Americana, one that would adorn your fireplace for years to come!
