Unique European Double Barreled Sword Percussion Pistol with Finely Engraved German Silver Hilt
Proofed in Liege, Belgium, this attractive weapon combines a mameluke-hilted short sword with a pair of folding trigger percussion pistols.22 inches overall in length. Blade is 16 1/2 inches long, with a spear tip, double edges, and single fullers, in which the Liege proofed Damascus barrels rest, one on each side. Short dual quillion cross guards, with scrollwork on the main body, starbursts on the quillions, and the percussion nipples concealed in the upper section, which doubles as the hammers. Solid German silver mameluke pattern hilt, with fine scroll engraving and a pair of folding triggers on the underside. Included with the sword is a brown leather sheath with decorative seam stitching and a German silver throat with belt hook.
