Very fine. The revolver retains approximately 90% of the original blue finish with some flaking, a small area of minor pitting and light spotting on the barrel, a mix of smooth brown patina and blue finish on the backstrap and a smooth gray patina on the front strap. The trigger guard is thinning to a smooth gray and the cylinder shows some minor thinning and edge wear as well as some light spotting. The loading lever and hammer retain most of the original bright case colors, fading somewhat on the left side of the hammer. The grips are very fine with some minor wear on the lower edges, a few minor dings and dents, and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear, and the engraving remains very fine overall. The action is excellent.
