The right side rear of the frame is decorated with a gold inlaid scorpion and the left side has a gold inlaid Maserati logo (where the S&W logo would normally be found, the ultimate car collector gun!). The consignor notes that this gun was made for a California Maserati dealer and was engraved by the hand of Isamu Kinamora, a master engraver working out in the famous custom shop of Ken Eyester's Heritage Gunsmiths of Ohio. Isamu Kinamora was one of the finest Japanese-American engravers and came to prominence in the 1960's and 1970's. The barrel has the standard markings and the lower right front of the frame has the standard four line address. Blade front sight with gold inlay on the sighting ramp and adjustable rear sight, blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger, serrated grip straps and fitted with nicely figured hardwood grips with S&W medallions.
