Excellent. The barrel retains 97% original blue finish showing loss at the muzzle. The remaining metal surfaces retain 80% original phosphate finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The grips are fine with a series of scratches near the bottom (right panel) and some minor handling marks overall.

Serial number also on the barrel lug and frame, a removed proof on the frame and trigger guard, late style hammer, ribbed grips and "P.38/U" marked magazine with an "Eagle/WaA135" proof on the spine.

Manufucture: Spreewerke
Model: P38
BBL: 5 inch round
Stock:

Finish: blue
Grips: plastic
Serial Number: 1908

Very good. The pistol retains 85% original blue finish with a smooth brown-gray patina mixed with blue on the front grip strap and some high edge wear. The grips are excellent with limited surface chipping and a few minor handling marks. Action needs work as the hammer does not remain in the cocked position when slide is released.
