This lot consists of two matched sets of percussion pistols. A and B are folding trigger box locks with turn-off barrels. Blade and notch sights, with a fine twist pattern on the barrel. Engraved lock and hammer, with "34/ TH" on the underside and a fish head hammer. Smooth one piece bag shaped grip. Complete in a wooden case with fitted green lining, ram rod for the larger pair (C & D), wooden mallet, Kola Granulee cap tin (partially full), bullet mold with sprue cutter for the larger pistols, powder flask and combination bullet mold and multitool for A and B.

Condition: Fine, with 30% of the original brown finish on the barrel, showing a strong Damascus pattern, and 40% of the original case colors. A gray patina is visible on the balance. Excellent grip, with minor dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is good, with a warped lid, minor scratches and handling marks on the exterior and some minor wear and staining on the lining. The accessories are all good.

Condition: Fine, with 50% of the original brown finish on the barrel, and 60% of the original case colors, showing a gray patina on the remainder with scattered handling marks. Excellent grip, with a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. grip is excellent with a few minor handling marks. The engraving is crisp and clear. The action is excellent.



C) Blade and notch sights, with a Damascus barrel and light engraving on the breech and tang. Fish head hammer and scroll engraved lock, marked "PEYRON FRERES / -A TOURS-" inside an oval. Checkered stock, with a brass tipped ebony ramrod, silver oval escutcheons, engraved tip, triggerguard and reverse plate, silver inscription oval and engraved buttcap with compartment.

Condition: Very good, with signs of cleaning, mixed gray patina and a strong Damascus pattern. 60% of the original blue finish remains, with minor spotting and a brown patina on the remainder. Traces of original case color are present on the lock, with graying overall. A long sliver is absent from the ramrod, and the stock is very good with minor scratches and dings. Mechanically very good.
