<B>Union Soldier 1/6th Plate Tintype.</B></I> This full standing portrait of a Union enlisted man is taken in front of a studio backdrop featuring tents amid a rugged landscape. The soldier is wearing a 9-button frock coat. His kepi sports insignia - possibly a corps badge - affixed to the chinstrap. Good surfaces, however dark haloing is present. Housed in a period case with the front lid separated.
