<B>Union Major General Joseph Hooker Autograph Card,</B></I> reading "<I>J. Hooker, Maj. Genl Feby 1/78</B></I>", 5" x 2.75". Some fading, trivial soiling. Very good condition. Joseph Hooker (1814 - 1879) was a Massachusetts native with a penchant for low living and personal power. His refusal to relinquish command after being stunned by an exploding shell may have helped give Robert E.
