<B>Union General Ulysses S. Grant: Tintype Mounted in an Embossed CDV</B></I>. Card measures 2.25” x 4”. Tintype measures 1.5” x 2”, the visible portion of which measures 1” x 1.5”. The tintype shows through a cutout portion of the card, around which there is an embossed design. The reverse of the card shows a decorative paper backing, which has been pasted to the card around the tintype, holding the image inside. This paper backing reads “Union Card Picture, Made by George F.
