<B>Union General George Meade Framed <I>Carte de Visite</B></I></B></I><B>Taken by Mathew Brady.</B></I> The image is matted, with the visible portion of the CDV measuring 2.25 x 4. The entire piece is framed to an overall size of 7.75" X 9.75". A brass nameplate underneath the image reads GENERAL GEORGE MEADE / USA 1815-1872. The image is the work of prolific Civil War photographer Mathew Brady. It is from E & H. T. Anthony from the Brady negatives.
