Smaller vignette of a locomotive at bottom center. Blind embossed company seal. Issued to aand Signed on verso by WILLIAM C. PROCTOR (1862-1934) Manufacturer and philanthropist. The grandson of Proctor and Gamble’s co-founder, William Cooper Proctor changed the manner of distribution and marketing of the company products, creating one of the largest corporations in the country. Perforation cancellation does not affect W.C. Proctor’s signature.
