Stoddard, approximately 200 pages, 5" x 7.5", ca. 1865-1870. A collection of more than 100 autographs of Union political and military figures are either written directly into this book or pasted in. The opener is a clipped signature of Lincoln's reading "<I>A. Yours truly A. Lincoln Sep. 25. 1861</B></I>". This is one of the few autographs not penned directly onto a leaf of the book. Other powerful autographs collected include those of the following personalities: U.S. Grant, Edwin Stanton, James Harlan, Winfield scott Hancock, O.O. Howard, Alexander Webb, Boston Corbett, James Blaine, James Garfield, Ely S. Parker and George Custer.
