<B>Union Artillery Kepi.</B></I> This Union artillery kepi is in excellent condition with its eagle federal artillery "A" buttons anchoring the long chin strap at the sides. The red piping, designating the kepi as that of an artilleryman, circles the blue felt and rises to the top of the kepi on all four sides. The visor is intact and firmly attached to the cap. <BR><BR>The interior of the cap has no lining but does have a leather covered thick paper centerpiece that bears the maker's mark of Ridabock and Company of New York City. The 1½” leather sweatband is complete and has a slight separation at the back of the cap.
