<B>Unfolded Original Dust Jacket for Edgar Rice Burroughs' <I>Synthetic Men of Mars</B></I>.</B></I> Both the jacket and spine illustrations were the work of ERB's son, John Coleman Burroughs. The rear panel lists "The Novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs" published up to 1940. The rear flap is an advertisement for another Burroughs novel to be released in 1940, <I>Tarzan the Magnificent.</B></I> The unfolded jacket measures approximately 19.5" x 7.75", and is for the 1940 first edition of <I>Synthetic Men of Mars,</B></I> a John Carter of Mars story serialized the year before in <I>Argosy Weekly.</B></I> The dust jacket offered here is in mint condition, rare for any Burroughs release, whether book or dust jacket.<BR><BR><b>Shipping:</b> Miscellaneous Collectibles, Smal (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.heritageauctions.com/common/shipping.php">view shipping information</a>)
