Under hammer percussion buggy type pistol marked “D.H. Hilliard, Cornish N.H. #2279”. The pistol measures 21-1/4” overall with 15-1/4” barrel of approx 50 cal rifled. The pistol shows no provision for attaching stock and shows simple blade rear and post front sights. The metal surfaces show a dark brown with some scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. The grip is good to very good and a brass tip ram rod is included. The actionis working well. From an old N.Y. collector’s estate. Est.;$350-$700.
