Undated Lincoln Memorial Cent--Double Struck on a Split Planchet--MS64 Red and Brown NGC. A fascinating error, the reverse side of a piece that was struck twice, the second time 80% off center toward 7 o'clock on the reverse, and split after striking. An after-image appears on the opposite side, which is dappled orange and brown, a set of colors that suggests a bronze or brass planchet rather than copper-coated zinc.
