<B>(Undated) John W. Lee Milk Check Set of 5 Pieces, Lexington KY 480B-3i through 480B-7i, NGC.</B></I> This lot contains a complete set of the five Milk Check pieces struck in zinc. These were issued by John W. Lee and all are exceedingly rare, in fact the zinc pieces are all R.9! These are also rare by type as the copper and brass pieces are also R.8 to R.9 also. This set is from the George Fuld collection or is plated in his "Store Card" book. Featured are: <BR> KY Lexington-480B-3i ONE HALF PINT OF MILK MS65 NGC, bright and reflective overall, a couple of die striations are noted through the F in HALF and a small contact mark is visible under the P of PINT;<BR> KY Lexington-480B-4i ONE PINT OF MILK MS65 NGC, numerous die polish lines are seen on the reverse amid exceptionally bright, essentially prooflike fields;<BR> KY Lexington-480B-5i ONE QUART OF MILK MS65 NGC, a similar prooflike finish is presented overall, however, about 90 degrees of counterclockwise die rotation is noted;<BR> KY Lexington-480B-6i ONE HALF GALL OF MILK MS63 NGC, some golden muting of color is seen mostly on the obverse side that dulls the finish, but still a very attractive example;<BR> KY Lexington-480B-7i ONE GALL OF MILK MS65 NGC, quite reflective with no mentionable spotting and about 90 degrees of counterclockwise die rotation, a couple of minor pits are seen near the center of the reverse.<BR>An exciting opportunity for the advanced collector to purchase all five of these rare tokens.
