<B>Undated Diamond Mine Silver Ingot.</B></I> The description from the 2001 Stack's catalog reads: "Dore i.e., unparted Bar. 69.7 x 18.5 x 7.7 mm. Stamped on the top with a pattern of diamond shapes like a western brand and on the bottom with 2.5 ozs. Essentially as made, probably 20th century, after 1945. The mine was said by the consignor to have been located in Nevada."<BR> The entire ingot appears to have been cast, as the top side has granularity also. The bottom side has a half-inch strip that looks like an area where the ingot was snapped from the mold.
