<B>Undated $1 Liberty Octagonal 1 Dollar, BG-501, Low R.5, AU55 PCGS.</B></I> This Period One octagonal dollar variety is especially popular because of its reverse motif. It imitates the eagle, shield, and ribbon design used on the contemporary U.S. Assay Office slugs. Although lightly circulated, this green-gold and apricot example is smooth aside from a couple of faint planchet cracks. Housed in a green label holder.
