Letter explaining the opinion of Indian Trader, L.W. Curry to refrain from renting portions of the family home to a physician. The letter notes the declining health of Curry's mother and purports that his father who is in "excellent health" could live off the money sent to him throughout the year, $100 total. On the company letterhead of L.W. Curry General Merchandise, United States Licensed Indian Trader. Letterhead is in blue. Ouray was named after the Ute chief who was influential in the relocation of his tribe from a vast land in Colorado to the Ouray reservation in Utah.
