Lot of 6 items, including: 1)Very rare and handsome pictorial piece: Program of the Utah Pioneer Jamboree, July 20th to 24th, 1897. Softcover, 8 pages, with color cover and black and red text. Measures 10" x 14", "Ralph Douglass" hand-written in pencil at top of back cover, bound by burgundy string. The scene on the front cover is an illustration of "Big Mountain, Emigration Canyon, with the Great Salt Lake Valley and the Great Salt Lake in the distance," the time is the "Morning of July 23rd, 1847," those present are "The first Band of Utah Pioneers. 'It is enough. This is the right place. Drive on.'-BRIGHAM YOUNG." An example of a Native American head-dress, spear, and arrow quiver are also present. The back cover includes an illustration of Salt Lake City on the bottom and a portrait of a young girl surrounded by flowers in the center. 2) The Overland Trail from the Golden Gate to the Great Salt Lake, Along the Southern Pacific-The Road of a Thousand Wonders. Softcover, 20 pages, includes 23 period illustrations "made expressly for this book from photographs taken by special artists… Illustrations include Crossing the Great Salt Lake (cover view), Hydraulic Mining at Dutch Flat, Promontory Point Utah, and Temple and Tabernacle at Salt Lake City. Measures 12" x 9 1/4", bound with green string. Front and back covers are worn along all 4 edges, while pages are slightly worn along right edge. 3) Utah GAR Souvenir Edition, Compliments of Bureau of Information, Temple Block, Salt Lake City. Softcover, measures 4 1/4" x 6 3/4", 96 pages, includes many illustrations. Contents include chapters on Utah climate and history, trip around Temple Block, Great Salt Lake, Mining, and Information For Tourists. No publishing date noted. 4) Pamphlet of Greater Salt Lake City, Compliments of The Sanitarium Sanitarium Baths. Softcover, measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", 11 pages, includes many illustrations. Views provided include: multiple shots of Main Street, Three of the Five Daily Newspapers, Banks, and Saltair Beach on Great Salt Lake. Cover page shows "100,000 Copies. Subsequent Editions.
